My friend June recently came back from a work trip to
She was blown away by the concept of transforming such a simple daily activity like selling fruits into one of the most fascinating scenes ever. June described it as a totally colourful, lively place full of buzz that sells fresh fruits, veggies, flowers, drinks and even meals cooked on the spot. The funniest thing she experienced was that all the transactions were done very quickly as you actually shop boat-to-boat and the traffic is out of this world in the early morning hours. You are simply expected to be quick.
Now, I am totally dreaming of spending a morning there too, don’t you? Lovelies, have you been to
P.S: More travel lust.

OMG this is dreamy. Wish I could go fruit shopping there every Saturday morning instead of my local market. Happy Friday, Grace
Totally agree, Grace!

i was once in bangkok and people where selling stuff from their boats but it didn't look anything like this. i remember the coke tasting so different and wonderful cause it was so hot there ;)

Awesome AND beautiful, how cool!
I've been and it is just as amazing as everyone says it is. It is one of the coolest places I've ever been to.
I have been to that market a couple of years ago. It is bursting of colours, but also it is quiete touristy! For more floating market galore you should check ou the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, truely fantastic!!
Oh thanks so much, Kristina. I am totally going to check it out. xo
