Japanese Take on Gift Wrapping

Tuesday, May 9, 2017

How about this year, instead of wrapping your Mother's Day gift in paper, try this beautifully unique Japanese furoshiki wrapping technique instead. I can't get enough it! The best bit is that by wrapping a gift in a gorgeous piece of fabric, you actually double your gift, because the wrapping can later become your mom's newest trusty tea towel or napkin. So special, isn't it?

Here is the full how-to, if you fancy giving it a go...

P.S: Another great tip.

Love the idea! I also love wrapping a bottle of wine in a tea towel, and wrap them together with a satin bow. I actually think that may have been an idea I borrowed from your blog!
